ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE (12/2020 – 4/2024)

Department of International Economics and Finance

To study theories and practices of international economics and finance, with a focus on international financial and economic institutions, policies, economic development models, economic integration, international financial-monetary system and their relationship with the Vietnamese economy.

Department of International Trade and Investment

 To study theories and practices of international trade  and investment in relation to the Vietnamese economy, including international trade and investment policies, trade agreements, global trade institutions, global production networks, global value chains, multinational corporations, international investment flows and M&A trends.

Department of International Politics and Security

To study theories and practices of international politics and security (traditional and non-traditional security), international political economy; the evolution of political institutions and world politics; socio-political models and institutions, national foreign policies and  strategies (development strategies, foreign affairs strategies, security-defense strategies) at all levels (global, regional, national, community and individual).

Department of Global Development Studies

To study theories and practices of global development issues such as sustainable development, climate change and environment, international labor movement, labor market and labor distribution, urbanization, logistics, resource distribution, , maritime economic development,  socio-economic issues, including employment, inequality, poverty, aging population…

Vietnam Journal of World Economics and Politics

Vietnam Journal of World Economics and Politics is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of World Economics and Politics, providing coverage of original high-quality research on world economic and political issues, new ideas and opinions on global economy and politics as well as Vietnam.

Department of Research Administration and International Relations

To advise and assist the board of directors in research administration, international cooperation and communication, particularly proposing research and international cooperation plans in short, medium and long-term, updating information on training programs, conferences and workshops, managing logistics for conferences and scholar exchanges, etc.

General Administrative Office

To advise and assist the board of directors in human resources management; financial and accounting administration; filing, archive management and logistics; organizational apparatus; security and fire prevention, etc.
