The book “Ownership in a modern market economy: Theoretical framework, international practice, and recommendations for Vietnam ” is the result of a national scientific project conducted by the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
The book consists of 3 chapters:
Chapter 1: Theoretical framework and international practices of ownership in a modern market economy. This chapter summarizes a theoretical framework of ownership and ownership in the market economy specifically; international practices of ownership in a modern market economy.
Chapter 2: Ownership in the development of a modern market economy in Vietnam. The followings are main points of this chapter: (1) A summary of current debates on ownership in Vietnam. (2) Reforms of ownership in Vietnam over different National Congresses. (3) Current situation of Vietnam’s ownership over 30-year-reform. (4) Comparision between ownership institutions in Vietnam and other market economies around the world.
Chapter 3: Background, orientation, and recommendations for improving ownership in Vietnam. The following topics are covered in this chapter: (1) Ownership in Vietnam. (2) Orientation for the improvement of ownership in Vietnam. (3) Recommendations for the improvement of ownership in Vietnam.
